On June 10, 2012, the Bureau of Academy-Locality Cooperation Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province, Nanjing Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Suzhou Municipal People's government jointly held “2012 the Chinese Academy of Sciences Biomedical Engineering Technological Achievements Symposium” in Suzhou.

 

Xiaodong Wu, researcher of Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to give a special report “Strengthen the biomedical engineering technology innovation and promote development of China's medical equipment industry”. Suzhou High-tech Zone issued information of medical equipment industry and policies and measures of supporting the industry development. After the conference, sci-tech workers and business executives had a face-to-face communication 74 programs. The scene has a warm atmosphere, docking effect is apparent. The fair proceeded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
