From Sep 26 to 27, “Industry-college-institute fair in Jiangsu Province-The fair of ocean program and equipment technologies achievement” was hold in Nantong. Jianguo Wu, deputy general secretary of Chinese academy of science, Jianming Zhou, Vice-president of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Jiangsu province and president of Nanjing Branch of Chinese academy of science, Jianyue Jiang, deputy general director of the department of science and technology in Jiangsu Province, attended the opening ceremony and made speeches. Guohua Zhang, vice secretary of municipal party committee and mayor of Nantong, attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided by Aijun Huang who is the vice mayor of Nantong.

 

This activity was co-sponsored by Department of Science and Technology in Jiangsu Province and Nantong municipal government, which was supported by the Bureau of Academy-Locality Cooperation Chinese Academy of Sciences and Nanjing Branch of Chinese Academy of Science which organized 10 institutes and nearly 40 experts to participate. In the fair, the experts in famous domestic colleges and institutes brought achievements in marine equipment and communicated with more than 150 directors of Enterprises face to face. The fair proceeded in a warm and friendly atmosphere. According to initial statistical analysis, it reached a preliminary intention of 63 fruits and both sides intended to further discuss 72 fruits. More than half experts accepted the invitations of enterprises to have a deeper discussion in the next step.
