At the end of August, Organization Department of Jiangsu Provincial Committee dispatched 6th deputy major group of science and technology. More than 700 members got picked to take temporary posts in cities and counties of Jiangsu, and 26 of them were from CAS system.
Personnel exchange and training is an important aspect of comprehensive co-operation between CAS and Jiangsu, and the activity of deputy major group of science and technology opens a new way for the personnel cooperation. In order to make this work well organized, Nanjing Branch made sufficient preparations. In June, Nanjing Branchjointly organized CAS-Jiangsu personnel cooperation and communication conference with Organization Department of Jiangsu Provincial Committee in Beijing. Department heads of 63CAS research institutes had an effective communication with leading cadres from 13 cities and 79 counties of Jiangsu. This conference efficiently propagandized the policy of deputy major group of science and technology and greatly inspired the enthusiasm of research institutes to take part in this activity.
The activity of deputy major group of science and technology is sponsored and organized by Organization Department of Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and sophisticated experts such as doctors and professors from colleges and institutes are dispatched to take charge of temporary deputy majors for one or two years in counties of Jiangsu. The purpose of this activity is to strengthen sci-tech cooperation and personnel change between academies and local governments and further promote valid integration of enterprises, universities and research institutes.
