On May 18th, the 10th China (Changzhou) Advanced Manufacturing Technology Symposium was held in the Science and Education Town of Changzhou . Yaping Zhang, Vice President of CAS and Tao Yang, Vice President of Nanjing Branch of CAS attended the opening ceremony. Nearly 50 scientists and engineers from 15 institutes of CAS attended this symposium. The cooperation between CAS and Changzhou have made new progress. The Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences and the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology signed contracts with three enterprises of Changzhou for major university-industry collaboration projects. At the same time, the ceremony of Genetic Resources Research and Development Center of CAS officially began, which would become the important R&D and industrialization base of the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology of CAS.
