Recently, at 2018 the 15th China Association of Clinical Laboratory Practice Expo, Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIBET) released a newly co-developed medical instrument, namely the full-automatic dry fluorescence immunity analyzer. This instrument can be widely utilized for the detection of biomolecules such as viral infectivity factor, cardiac markers, tumor markers and microbial pathogens. SIBET has started the R&D plan since 2013, and three research groups have participated in the project, together with Suzhou Top Medical Technology Limited Company. Through independent innovation, SIBET scientists have successfully broken up monopolies in the immunity analyzer market. Additionally, the R&D project brought 7 patents of invention, 11 patents of utility model and 1 software copyright in total.
