Changzhou Advanced Manufacturing Technology R&D and Industrial Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences
On November 6, 2006, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Changzhou Municipal People’s Government signed a contract to build Changzhou Advanced Manufacturing Technology R&D and industrial center of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Changzhou Center implements center director liabilities system under the leadership of the council. According to the requirement of “the joint of economics, science and technology and the win-win combination of the school, institutes and the enterprises”, Changzhou Center will build a base of advanced manufacturing technological research and development and large-scale production around the target of technology transfer, technology development, technology innovation, talent cultivation and scientific and technological services, which will make significant contribute to local science and technology innovation and economic and social development. So far, Changzhou Center has established 14 branches. It possesses 30 professional laboratories, and 28 R&D centers or joint laboratories with enterprises. There are 434 scientific and technical personnel in the center, including 243 masters or higher degree personnel. It has incubated 27 high-tech companies and signed more than 220 cooperation projects.
Taizhou Application Technology R&D and Industrialization Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences
On November 5, 2006, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Taizhou Municipal People’s Government signed the “agreement on building the Taizhou Application Technology R&D and Industrialization Center with Chinese Academy of Sciences and Taizhou Municipal People’s Government”, which declared the born of the Taizhou Center. In 2012, the Taizhou Municipal People’s Government and Chinese Academy of Sciences signed the cooperation agreement of the next five years. Taizhou Center closely keeps to the point of industrial economic development and strategic emerging industry of Taizhou and faces requirements of scientific and technological progress for enterprises. Taizhou center improves its ability using solid foundation, promotes technical cooperation and achievements transformation, which plays a leading role to fulfill “Three Service” requirements.
Yangzhou Application Technology R&D and Industrialization Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences
On November 5, 2006, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Yangzhou Municipal People’s government signed a contract to build Yangzhou Application Technology R&D and Industrialization Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Yangzhou Center implements center director liability system under the leadership of the council. Since Jiangsu CNC Machine Tool Institute was built on the platform of Yangzhou Center in 2010, Yangzhou Center has entered a new stage. The first stage is to promote the cooperation of local enterprises and CAS institutes. The second stage is to introduce of CAS Institutes to set up branches in Yangzhou. So far, Yangzhou Center has moved to the third stage, in which the center has been constructing an integrated innovation system.
Suzhou Industrial Technology Innovation and Incubation Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences
On December 19, 2009, the Bureau of Academy-Locality Cooperation, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee jointly established Suzhou Industrial Technology Innovation and Incubation Center. Its inauguration ceremony was held in Suzhou. Suzhou Center takes “Technology incubation, Business incubation and Talent incubation” as its development guideline. Suzhou Center has built five service systems of project incubation, platform service, technology transfer, finance and education training, which has formed chain of technology service combined government, industry, academy, research, fund, intermediary and application into one with full use of the resources of government agencies, research institutions, venture capital and so on.
Nanjing High-Tech R&D and Industrial Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences
On January 23, 2010, Nanjing High-Tech R&D and Industrialization Center Chinese Academy of Sciences, was officially launched. It has been working closely with the relevant units belonged to Chinese Academy of Sciences and local enterprises in Nanjing, relying on the advantages of Chinese Academy of Sciences and local government. According to the requirements of local characteristics of industry and technology, Nanjing Center has been building a number of platforms oriented on R&D and technology transfer. It has been carrying out research on key technologies with great application prospects, which will accelerate the transfer and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Nanjing.
