On December 18th 2012, production ceremony of first stage program of Yanzhou Zhongke Semiconductor Lighting Co. was held in economic and technological development zone in Yangzhou city. Yanwen Wang who is the member of provincial committee and Yangzhou municipal party secretary, Zhongming Tan who is the general manager of Materials group and Zhengyi Xie who is the mayor of Yangzhou and Jinmin Li who is the director of Institute of semiconductor of CAS attended the ceremony.
Semiconductor Lighting Co. specializes in R & D, production and sales of blue GaN - LED high-end epitaxial wafer. According to the plan, the constructions of epitaxial wafer and chip would be divided into two phases. It would possess 100 MOCVD equipments and 2.4 million chips in two years. By the end of 12th Five-Year Plan period, the annual output of Yangzhou Zhongke will reach 10 billion yuan.
