The English website of Nanjing Branch, CAS (http://english.njb.cas.cn/) was formally launched on January 23, 2013. With a clear theme and a fresh style, its target groups are mainly foreigners. From now on, Nanjing Branch of CAS has further expanded its audience of the official website.

 

With the rapid development of information construction of CAS and according to the

need of external communication of Nanjing Branch, the construction of English website is a key job of Nanjing CAS recently. Since the middle of Dec.2012, website construction team composed of young people has done a lot of work. By collecting information, referring to famous research sites and discussing repeatedly, the team defined the page design and columns of the website, whose contents involve eight parts such as Research, CAS-Provincial Cooperation and International Cooperation.

 

On January 18, review meeting on the English website was held by Nanjing Branch, and the vice president Prof. Gu Xiaohong spoke highly of it and fully affirmed the work of these young people. After further improvement and refinement,, the website was officially launched on January 23.

 

The English website is an important window for external communication, and also a necessary path to promote international exchanges and cooperation on scientific research work. We hope that the English website of Nanjing Branch, CAS can act as a bridge for active international cooperation and collaborative scientific research.
