Prof. Zhou Jianmin, President of Nanjing Branch CAS, was re-elected as Vice-Chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference on 24th January 2013. Prof. Zhang Xingzhong, the Communist Party Secretary of Nanjing Branch CAS, re-elected as member of the standing committee and elected as vice director-general of S&T Professional Committee in Jiangsu Provincial Committee CPPCC.
