In the latest session of CPPCC, Prof. Zhou Jian-min, President of Nanjing Branch CAS, was re-elected member of CPPCC Standing Committee.

Prof. Yang Qun, President of Nanging Institute of Geology and paleontology CAS, and Prof. Cui Xiangqun, CAS academician in Nanjing Institute of Astronomical Optics & Technology CAS, were elected deputy of NPC during the latest NPC conference.
