Sponsored by Nanjing Branch Sports Association, on June 9 Nanjing Branch CAS 2013 annual Staff Fitness Running around the Lake Activity was held in Nanjing Xuanwu Lake to coincide with the upcoming the second Fitness Day of CAS. The event theme is “national fitness, science forward together.” Mr. Zhang Xingzhong, secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Nanjing Branch and chairman of Sports Association, attended the event. Mr. Wang Qifei, secretary general of Sports Association of Nanjing Branch, presided over the ceremonies and gave a pep talk before the game. The competition is divided into 5 groups, including men's junior group, men’s middle-aged group, women's youth group, women’s middle-aged group and leading cadres group. 6 units of CAS in Nanjing area and person in charge of Sports Association of Nanjing Branch attended the activity, each unit on-the-job worker and graduate student representatives totaling more than 140 people took part in the game.
Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics (SINANO) and Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology (SIBET), also recently in Suzhou held a series of national fitness activities.
