On the afternoon of May 6, Nanjing Branch of the CAS postgraduate education symposium held in the Nanjing Branch meeting hall, in order to accelerate the pace of reform and development of postgraduate education, to better sum up the work, exchange experiences, explore new ideas, to further improve the Nanjing Branch postgraduate education management level and education quality. Mr. Zhou Jianmin, president of Nanjing Branch and Mr. Zhang Xingzhong, party secretary of Nanjing Branch attended the symposium which was host by Mr. Gu Xiaohong, vice president of Nanjing Branch. Leaders in charge of education in the postgraduate training units of CAS in Jiangsu province, functional department directors and educational cadres participated in the discussion.

It was held immediately after the symposium that this year’s WuYee Sun Scholarship Accreditation Council and Jiangsu Province outstanding postgraduate dissertation recommended selection. It was a total of 22 excellent graduate students got 2013 Wu Yee Sun Scholarship and 5 doctoral dissertations and 5 postgraduate dissertations from 6 postgraduate training units of Nanjing Branch were recommended to declare Jiangsu Province outstanding postgraduate dissertation.
