In the afternoon of July 19th, Nanjing Branch of the CAS organized system’s conference on safety inspection of scientific research and production in Xuyi station of Purple Mountain Observatory. Leaders in charge of safety, director of security departments of Units of Nanjing Branch system and the Nanjing Public Security Bureau relevant leaders attended the meeting.

Mr. Wang Jingming, director of Nanjing Branch office, conducted the meeting which further clarified the arrangements and timing of safety inspection of scientific research and production.

Mr. Gu Xiaohong, vice president of Nanjing Branch, clearly stated the requirement to do security work well. Always put safety first, be prepared and take preventive measures. During the summer vacation we should attach great importance to graduate students’ safety education and management, strengthen the prevention consciousness education, emphasize their personal safety, traffic safety, water and electricity safety of dormitory in the holiday period, to prevent accidents.

Before the meeting, the inspection team carried out the safety inspection of scientific research and production on the Xuyi station of Purple Mountain Observatory.
