On November 15th, the 4th China Jiangsu exposition of industry-university-research cooperation was held on Nanjing International Exhibition Centre. 65 experts from 23 institutes of Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) participated in this exposition. Xiaohong Gu, vice president of Nanjing branch of CAS, attended the opening ceremony of the exposition and inspected the CAS achievements exhibition.
This exposition was themed by “Gather resources to promote cooperation and collaboratively innovate for development”. The achievements of CAS institutes were selected and shown in internet to entrepreneurs before exposition, and experts and entrepreneurs communicated face to face during the exposition. In addition, hundreds of scientific and technological achievements from more than 60 top expert teams of CAS were briefly introduced on achievements exhibition, and most of them were the concerned achievements from key projects funded by ministry of science and technology and the national natural fund committee, etc. , such as 863 projects and 973 projects. A lot of the achievements with expansive industrialization prospect were recommended to Jiangsu for the first time, and caused great concerns of local government departments and entrepreneurs.
After the exposition, a lot of preliminary cooperation intentions were reached between CAS institutes and entrepreneurs, and more than 20 experts were invited to visit enterprises for further communication.
