On August 13, Vice President of Nanjing Branch Chinese Academy of Sciences Yang Tao, office director of Nanjing Branch Wang Jingming, Purple Mountain Observatory Leader Zhang Liping, director of the general office PMO Zhu Aizhong, went to Qinghai Station of PMO for safety inspection and investigation. Jv Binggang, Qinghai Station's chief scientist and assistant of station master, and scientific research personnel participated in the report and discussion.

Secretary Zhang Liping gave warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the Nanjing Branch leadership for guiding the work and inspection in Qinghai Station. Researcher Xu Ye briefly introduced the development history of Qinghai Station, the main task at this stage and the recent scientific achievements. Ju Binggang introduced the progress of renovation project in 2014. Vice President Yang, Mr Zhang and so on fully affirmed on the achievements made in Qinghai Station and management work in order.

After the report, a team lead by Vice President Yang conduct a comprehensive inspection of the work station, some of the potential safety problems raised rectification.

Subsequently, the participants visited the SONG telescope and Delingha astronomical science museum.
