Recently Nanjing Branch organized all the staff to watch the movie A Noble Spirit for learning the moving story of Jvmei Duoji, Sichuan outstanding party member and Tibetan cadre, who adhered to stay close to the grass-roots level and serve the people.
The film is a true representation of Jvmei Duoji's brief but touching life. He ate lived and worked together with the villagers to build the country roads which solved the village decades’ journey difficult problem. In order to implement "the herdsmen settlement action plan", to change the status quo of long-term "pastoral nomadic", countless times he traveled in herdsman home to introduce the policy and was always too busy to take into account his own old house’s renovation. He took the initiative to solve the housing problem for the childless poor old man. He sent the herdsmen’s sick child to the hospital at midnight. He helped herdsmen for wages and missing cattle. It is these dribs and drabs merged into a touching warm current.
Jvmei Duoji suffered from high blood pressure, cannot excessive overworked, was also not suitable for working at high elevations, but he repeatedly refused his wife’s request to work in Chengdu. He put the blood spilled on Plateau, long-term stayed close to the grass-roots level, and served the masses. In May 18, 2012, a day after 16 hours of continuous running, because of excessive work, Jvmei Duoji suffered a brain hemorrhage and died, only 33 years old. He presents a loyal Party member with his life.
