After international students’ application, each unit of Nanjing Branch recommended and related experts organized by Nanjing Education Bureau reviewed, in 2014 a total of 9 students of each unit of Nanjing Branch who were from the United Kingdom, Japan, Korea, Tanzania, Uruguay, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other countries won the Nanjing Municipal Government Foreign Student Scholarship. The number of scholarship winners in 2014 than 2013 (4 students) increased by 5. 

“Nanjing Municipal Government Foreign Student Scholarship” is set up in 2013 by the Nanjing government to attract and encourage more talented foreign students learning and scientific research in universities and institutes of Nanjing and expand student enrollment. Specific award criteria: graduate 20,000 RMB/year, undergraduate 10,000 RMB/year, non-academic education foreigners one-time award 5,000 RMB every half year.
