Recently, nine foreign students from institutes of Nanjing branch won “the Scholarship for Foreign Students of Nanjing Municipal Government” of the year 2014, which has increased from five of 2013. They are separately from Britain, Japan, South Korea, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uruguay, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

“The Scholarship for Foreign Students of Nanjing Municipal Government” is aimed to attract more outstanding foreign students to study and research in universities and institutes of Nanjing, which was established in 2013. The award has three criteria: for the graduate students, it is 20000 yuan per year; for the undergraduate students, it is 10000 yuan per year; for the foreign people with non-academic education, it is 5000 yuan every half year.
