On August 27th, CAS-Lianyungang Economic & Technological Development Area Production-Study-Research Cooperation Conference was held in Lianyungang. Yunhan Xiao, Vice President of Nanjing Branch of CAS and Tao Yang, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Nanjing Branch attended the opening ceremony. This talkfest centered in a batch of technical requirements of enterprises in the fields of new material, new medicine, new energy and high-end equipment manufacturing. More than 20 scientists and engineers from 15 institutes of CAS attended this talkfest and released hundreds of scientific and technological achievements. The cooperation between CAS and Changzhou have made new progress. 55 enterprises from Lianyungang Economic & Technological Development Area attended this talkfest. On the basis of existing successful communication, CAS institutes and enterprises signed 8 cooperation agreements on this talkfest. After the exposition, a lot of preliminary cooperation intentions were reached between CAS institutes and enterprises, and majority experts were invited to visit enterprises for further communication.
