Jiangsu provincial government announced the winners of "2015 Jiangsu Friendship Award" and the awarding ceremony was scheduled on September 18, 2015 in Nanjing. Professor Edmund JARZEMBOWSKI from Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the other 20 foreign experts from Jiangsu won the top provincial honor in recognition of their outstanding contributions to economic and social development of the province. 

Professor JARZEMBOWSKI is one of NIGPAS visiting scientists funded by the PIFI program of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). There are four types of fellowships available for overseas scientists to conduct research and collaborations at NIGPAS via fund of PIFI. They are: 1) distinguished scientists, 2) visiting scientists, 3) postdoctoral researchers and 4) international Ph.D. candidates. Relevant information is available at the following web site:
