In order to enhance the high school teachers' and students' understanding of the Chinese Academy of Science and scientific research work, Nanjing Branch invited 38 sophomore students of elite class of Nanjing Normal University Affiliated Middle School to visit Nanjing broadband wireless mobile communication technology R & D Center, Nanjing Institute of Soil Science and Nanjing institute of geology and paleontology on the afternoon of October 19.

Although the institutes of Nanjing Branch are mainly concentrated in the field of resources and environment, but this time Nanjing branch made the visiting research institutes covered a wide field including electronic information, modern communication, soil ecological environment construction and ancient biological life evolution through careful planning and design. At the same time, Nanjing branch chose national key laboratory, scientific center of analysis and test, and lectures of young scientists instead of permanent exhibition area of the previous libraries and museums.

This visit let the high school students fully and truly feels the atmosphere of scientific research, know about the real research work and understand the procedure and method of scientific research work. In addition, future participation in the research work is prepared in advance.
