On December 5th, Nanjing Branch of CAS organized 132 experts from 39 institutes from CAS attended “The second session CAS- Haian Science and Technology Exchange Activity”. Yang Tao, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Nanjing Branch attended this activity and gave a report. Haian leaders and 460 chief members of enterprises attended this activity. The event was divided into two stages. In the morning, around “New material” “Energy and environmental protection” “Equipment manufacturing and automation” and “Modern agriculture” four fields, CAS experts presented the scientific and technological achievements. In the afternoon, enterprise leaders introduced the demands of technology and experts and entrepreneurs face to face communicated. CAS and Haian got more than 112 items cooperation intentions. Haian government attached great importance to the cooperation with Chinese Academy of Sciences, CAS- Haian Science and Technology Exchange Activity played an important role in the development of regional technology and economy of Haian. Since “The First Session CAS- Haian Science and Technology Exchange Activity”, CAS institutes and Haian enterprises got 19 cooperation agreements.
