On December 13th, Shi Taifeng, acting governor of Jiangsu, visited the Center for energy and power research of Chinese Academy of Sciences.  

During the investigation, Xiao Yunhan, vice president of Nanjing branch of China Academy of Sciences and director of the Center for energy and power research of Chinese Academy of Sciences, accompanied Shi Taifeng to visit the research facilities and ongoing trials. He reported the construction situation and scientific research progress of the center, and focused on the gas turbine combustor development, demonstration and pressured transport gasified technology research. Xiao Yunhan also introduced the follow-up work on cooperation with enterprises to promote IGCC ultra clean and efficient cogeneration and supporting the development of local industry. 

Shi Taifeng fully affirmed the scientific research work of the center after listening to the report, and he expressed appreciation and recognition of the independent innovation work of the center.
