International Influence Assessment result of Chinese Academic Journal of 2015 was released in Beiing. “Paleontology Journal” sponsored by Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences was rated as "China's most international influential academic journal of 2015". “Journal of Stratigraphy” was named “China’s excellent international influential academic journal of 2015”.

The international influence of academic journals reflects the importance the international academic circles attach to journals and their academic content. The selection of 2015 ranks China's 3500 science and technology academic journals according to "Influence Index of International Journal”. The top 5% and top 5%-10% journals were elected “China's most international influential academic journal of 2015" and “China’s excellent international influential academic journal of 2015” respectively.
