On January 4th, Zhang Yaping, vice president of Chinese Academy of Sciences, had a research of Nanjing branch.

He attended the meeting of science and technology work held by Nanjing branch. Yang Tao, deputy party secretary of Nanjing branch, reported the cooperation work between Chinese Academy of Sciences and Jiangsu and Jiangxi Province. He introduced both the main mode and existing problems of achievements transformation.

Zhou Jianmin, president of Nanjing branch, raised suggestions about evaluation system reform of institutes, allocation of transformation resources, striving for national support, and playing more roles on STS construction.

Zha Yaping fully affirmed the CAS-Provincial cooperation work of Nanjing branch. He pointed out that the cooperation between Chinese Academy of Sciences and Jiangsu is in the domestic leading level. He hoped that Nanjing branch will continue to play the advantage of organization coordination, and form a cohesive force of the subordinate institutes and strive to achieve new breakthrough.
