Nanjing Branch 2016 third popularization of science activity “Pursuing Science Camp” successfully concluded. In this activity, more than 130 teachers and students from Beijing middle school were divided into 21 groups. They came to the labs of Nanjing Institute of Soil Science, Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology and Institute of Botany of Jiangsu and CAS. Under the guidance of scientific research personnel, the students studied 21 science subjects. 

The research topics in this event were selected from the important research projects of the scientific researchers. The scientific researchers made some adjustments to the subjects, appropriated to reduce the difficulty and simplify some complex and time-consuming processes. Participated students in the activity operated the scientific instruments of institutes, widened the field of vision and experienced the hardships of scientific research work. 

In the evening of 27th and in the morning of 28th, summing-up meeting was held. During the meeting, each group students showed 15 minutes speech on their research results. The scientific personnel in the guidance of scientific research timely reviewed, pointed out the lightspot and insufficiency in the process of scientific practice and inspired their divergent thinking. Gong Yiqin, director of teenagers activity center of Jiangsu province association for science and technology presented the award for the students with excellent representation.
