To summarize and exchange information of 2015 annual research and transformation of scientific and technological achievements of institutes in the system of Nanjing Branch, in January 28th afternoon, Nanjing Branch held 2015 summing-up meeting of scientific research work. Yang Guishan, vice president of Nanjing Branch attended this meeting. Yin Rui, hed of Science and technology cooperation held the meeting.
Institutes in the system of Nanjing Branch reported main work in the field of scientific research, 135 plan completion and its 13th Five Year Plan. They discussed and exchanged of valuable experiences.
Institutes in the system of Nanjing Branch have got many scientific research achievements with bright spots. China’s first space-based scientific satellite for dark matter search – “WuKong” or “Monkey King” was launched successfully from Jiuquan satellite launch center. This satellite is the first of a series of space science missions of Strategic Priority Program on space science from CAS. The Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO) of Nanjing, as the general payload unit, plays a leading role in the construction.
In the summary statement, Yang Guishan said that all institutes in Nanjing Branch achieved good results in 12th Five Year Plan and got clear development direction in 13th Five Year Plan. This year was the first year of in 13th Five Year Plan and it is very important to complete every work. Yang Guishan emphasized that in 2016 the institute would focus on the following four sorts of work. First, fight for National Key S&T Special Projects and Major Research Plan. Second, pay close attention on the layout planning and implementation. Third, summarize and concise the results of institutes. Fourth, strengthen the establishment the scientific research platform and detection platform of institutes.
Before the conference, convention delegates visited exhibition room of Nanjing Wireless Valley and Nanjing Broadband Wireless Mobile Communications Research.
