On March 10th, the informatization work assessment result of 2015 of Chinese Academy of Sciences was released. Purple Mountain Observatory ranked first in the 106 participating institute, and was awarded the "excellent institute of informatization work of CAS of 2015". 

The evaluation index system includes: information environment, information technology application and high performance computing. the specific contents include: information management, information security, network equipment and IT environment, data application environment, collaborative platform, digital literature resources, scientific research information, the typical application of ARP, website, network communication system, management science, information fusion and typical application of education information platform application, multi aspects and high performance development, maintenance and application etc.
