Recently, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Jiangsu province held scientific and technological cooperation meeting, the two sides summed up the science and technology work of the "Twelfth Five Year " and mapped out the key cooperation tasks of the "13th Five-Year". Also, a new round of science and technology cooperation agreement was signed.

Party Secretary of Jiangsu province Luo Zhijun said that, Jiangsu province has always regard the cooperation with Chinese Academy of Sciences as an important measure to promote local economic and social development. For CAS-Provincial scientific and technological cooperation, Luo Zhijun proposed four suggestions: firstly, promote high-end innovation cooperation carrier and foster strategic innovation heights; secondly, promote the collaborative innovation cooperation network and build the industrial technology research and development system; thirdly, promote the international exchanges and innovation cooperation, and jointly promote the international innovation resources effecetively dock with the demand of Jiangsu Province; fourthly, promote the diversified cooperation of talent and help local governments and enterprises agglomerate innovation resources, make breakthroughs in key technologies, improve the ability of research and development and provide more powerful talent and intelligence support.
