Recently, a notice was issued by Frontier Science and Education Bureau of Chinese Academy of Sciences that the graduate education of five institutes of Nanjing branch overall transferred to University of Science and Technology of China. These five institutes are: Purple Mountain Observatory, Nanjing Institute of Geology and Paleontology, Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech & Nano-bionics, Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering& Technology and Nanjing Astronomical Instruments Company. 

This is an important measure of Nanjing Branch to implement science and education fusion development strategy of CAS, and is a positive exploration of the reform of personnel training system and an innovation of talent raising, which is conducive to promote talent cultivation and innovation ability.
