On April 11th, Purple Mountain Observatory and University of Science and Technology of China signed a framework agreement of building the Institute of astronomy and space science.
The two sides will seize the opportunity to further deepen the cooperation of personnel training, teaching and scientific research to realize the complementary advantages and make greater contributions to the astronomical talent training and national astronomical career development.
Both sides had extensive and in-depth discussions about construction scheme declaration, undergraduates raising, research direction, Academic Degrees Committee setting, and other specific issues. A series of consensus was reached and , a good foundation future cooperation was laid.
