In the Millimeter and Sub-Millimeter Wave Laboratory, Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, led by researcher SHI ShengCai the research team has been committed to the technology research of high sensitivity THz superconducting detectors for a long time. Their research covers superconducting detectors physics, chip design and making, as well as system development and application. Research achievements is applied to our country’s Millimeter and Sub-Millimeter Wave telescope, some achievements are also applied to SMA and ALMA. 2015 achievement of High sensitivity THz superconducting detector technology and application (Author: Shi Sheng-Cai; Li Jing; Zhang Wen; Miao Wei) placed second in the 2015 annual China Institute of Electronics’ Science and Technology Progress Award. The award ceremony of 2015 annual China Institute of Electronics’ Science and Technology Progress Award was Held in Beijing on April 26, 2016. Award-winning representatives attended it and received the medal. (Information source: Nanjing branch of CAS) |
