Because of its high energy, low power consumption, no pollution, strong targeting and other characteristics, spectrum treatment technology has been widely used in clinical disciplines, as an important treatment method. However, the existing spectrum therapy technology generally has low energy, shallow depth of treatment, slow and other shortcomings, limiting clinical research and application’s promotion of the therapy.
Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology (SIBET) combines the optical and biomedical, with a number of patented technology and special technology, works out the special treatment spectrum which is consistent with the human body of light absorption curve. The treatment light has a ultra broadband spectrum from visible to near-infrared, covering a variety of effective treatment spectrum, can be used for chronic inflammation, vascular and tissue regeneration, inflammatory pain, sports injuries, malignant disease treatment and other fields.
At present, based on the technology, SIBET developed a medical device for the hospital’s pain and rehabilitation department used for the treatment of inflammation and chronic pain. The device has been through the wholly-performance testing of Jiangsu Institute of Medical Device Testing, completed the clinical trial and has declared medical device product registration certificate. At the same time, the product prototype are carrying out clinical validation in the First Hospital of Jilin University, the Second Hospital of Jilin University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, Guangzhou Orthopedic Hospital and other clinical bases for herpes zoster, knee arthritis, postoperative pain, cancer treatment, the effect is significant.
