On July 5th, "Nanjing Kylin S&T City’s Innovation Development Forum" was held in Nanjing by Nanjing Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Nanjing Municipal Government. In order to strengthen cooperation between Nanjing Kylin S&T City and the institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on industrial technology innovation and major R&D projects, both sides would integrate and share their resources to achieve powerful combination of complementary advantages, to make mutual benefit and win-win results. CAS vice president Zhang Tao, CAS Nanjing Branch President Zhou Jianmin, Nanjing Mayor Miu Ruilin with other officials from CAS, Jiangsu S&T Department and Nanjing municipal Government attended the forum.

Kylin S&T City is located in the southeast of Nanjing urban. Nanjing municipal government should make it the leading area of Nanjing S&T innovation and the gathering area of high-tech industry. CAS expressed great appreciation for the strategic measures of the Nanjing municipal government to build Kirin S&T City, and would contribute more innovative resources to make the city become the next national comprehensive science center.
