On February 7, the signing ceremony of the second batch of R&D institutions was held in Nanjing. Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIBET) and Nanjing Gaochun District Government will start the cooperation to construct the Institute of Wise Medical System. Director of SIBET Tang Yuguo, and deputy director Deng Qiang and Wu Xiaodong attended the ceremony.

SIBET and Nanjing Gaochun District Government have reached a consensus for strategic cooperation in order to construct the Institute of Wise Medical System on the meeting. Both two sides will focus on several promising fields of bioengineering and technology such as precision medicine, recuperation, rehabilitation, etc. Introduction of scientific resources from SIBET and establishment of R&D centers and engineering platforms will greatly improve the medical system of Nanjing Gaochun District, and attract other universities and institutions.
