On August 1, President of Jiangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences (JAAS) DAI Xingzhao, visited Nanjing Branch. A cooperation meeting was then held between JAAS and Nanjing Branch. President of Nanjing Branch YANG Guishan and directors of CAS institutes in Nanjing attended the meeting.

DAI Xingzhao firstly introduced the basic situation and recent achievements of JAAS. He hoped that JAAS and Nanjing Branch would establish a long-term cooperative mechanism to co-construct research platforms, carry out joint research projects and co-organize academic seminars, which could further improve the research level of JAAS.

Deputy director of Institute of Soil Sciences CAI Li, deputy director of Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology GU Xiaohong and director of research department of Institute of Botany YIN Yunlong respectively introduced the basic situation of each institute and their cooperation with JAAS as well as Jiangxi Province.
