On December 14th, 2015, the first 30cm time domain observation array telescope of Nanjing University which was developed by Nanjing Institute of Astronomical Optics & Technology passed site acceptance on Nanshan Observatory, Xinjiang Observatory.

The acceptance was organized by Astronomy and Space Sciences Academy of Nanjing University. Researcher Wang Na who was the director of Xinjiang Observatory, Professor Zhang Junfeng who was the director of Key Project Office of Nanjing University, Professor Zhou Jilin who was the dean of Astronomy and Space Sciences Academy of Nanjing University and another experts composed acceptance group. The experts heard research report of the telescope which was given by project team of Nanjing Institute of Astronomical Optics & Technology. Then they conducted on-site visits. After discussion, the acceptance group consistency agreed that the telescope passed site acceptance.

The observation time domain telescope array of Nanjing University included several about 10° wide field telescopes and subsequently precision telescopes. Those telescopes constituted observation array to carry out research on time domain field. After completion, it will become international leader of time domain ground observation equipment and be a breakthrough of research progress. Because of the cooperation and support of Xinjiang Observatory and Nanjing University, the project group of first 30cm time domain observation telescope overcome the harsh environment and passed site acceptance successfully. It laid the foundation and accumulated experience of other telescopes’ alignment work.
