Professor Franz Fuersich from Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg has assumed his CAS visiting professorship at Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Science  (NIGPAS). He will be conducting cooperative research in taphonomy of invertebrates from the Jehol Biota and graduate education at NIGPAS from May to September, 2014.
