Representatives from Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology attend SfN 2015

On October 17-21, 2015, Society for Neuroscience (SfN)’s 45th Annual Meeting take place at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL. As one of the invited participants, Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology (SIBET), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) was invited to attend this momentous occasion (Booth No. 2153).  

During the meeting, Brain Research Instrument Innovation Center of SIBET (BRIIC-SIBET) has engaged in extensive technological exchanges and cooperation with researchers from other countries and regions. SIBET-BRIIC integrates inputs of technology and knowledge from worldwide, and in turn provides instrumentation and technical support to related brain research institutions in CAS as well as in China and worldwide.   

The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) is a professional society, headquartered in Washington, DC, for basic scientists and physicians around the world whose research is focused on the study of the brain and nervous system. SfN was founded in 1969 by Ralph W. Gerard and, at nearly 40,000 members, has grown to be the largest neuroscience society in the world. Over the years, the number of convention attendance has grown dramatically. Attendance has steadily increased to about 30,000, with 31,263 in 2014.SfN's annual meeting is the premier venue for neuroscientists to present emerging science, learn from experts, forge collaborations with peers, explore new tools and technologies, and advance careers.
